Pony Club - 4/12/12

Tonight's rally was Ah-May-Zing!!!! :) Sky was super perfect, doing fab dressage in the arena. He has real rythym, so I might try to do Kur on him next season. We did collecting the stride in walk in trot (easy) leg yeilding, which Sky was great to the left with, a bit sticky going to the right though. We also did turn on the forehand which Sky aced - he LOVES turn on the forehand, the only problem is getting him to stop! At the end we had a race against the begginer ride for Around the World, and despite all use oldies being super stiff, and in high canteled dressage saddles we won (which is good as it would have been really embarrasing if we lost to people a 1/3 of our age! Sky's dressage is really coming along, hopefully it continues - usually the quality lacks....
